| Choose and element to measure and create. | |
| Use apple/shift/4 to take three pictures for the three views: 1. Front 2. Top 3. Side | |
| In sketch-up, use the tape measure to measure all the edges for these views. | |
| Reduce the distances uniformly to lengths that can fit on your paper (8x11) | |
| Draw out rough sketch "dummy" | |
| Draw out clean version with ruler | |
| Cut out and construct | |
